Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

Providing engineering-level support remotely, the full-time Field Service Engineer will troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage PLM design projects, and collaborate with the Field Service Representative team to enhance product reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with the Field Service Representative team to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems while ensuring compliance with specifications
• Provide technical input for updates to technical publications and training materials based on new products and features

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in automotive-related programs preferred
• 5+ years of OEM engineering-level technical service support experience
• 8+ years of experience with school buses or 10+ years in medium-duty trucks
• Proficient in CAN communication and/or J1939 protocol
• Commercial Class B driver's license
