Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

Providing device installation and maintenance, the full-time Field Service Engineer will manage service requests, ensure customer satisfaction, and perform technical support in the local territory of Chicago, IL, or Minneapolis, MN.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Act as a focal point for troubleshooting and customer follow-up on product and service-related issues
• Provide technical assistance and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance

Required qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related degree, or applicable military experience
• 2-5 years of relevant technical field service experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities and motivation
• Good technical writing skills
