Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior File Transfer Engineer will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of file transfer services, while providing high-level technical support and strategic planning for complex systems.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and problem management for critical file transfer systems
  • Perform complex installations, configurations, and customizations of file transfer products
  • Assist in strategic planning and project activities related to file transfer systems
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6 to 9+ years of experience in file transfer engineering
  • Expertise in IBM Connect:Direct, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, and related products
  • Experience with Unix and Windows environments, including upgrading and patching software
  • Knowledge of AIX/Linux systems and digital certificate installation
