Final QC Due Diligence Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Final QC Due Diligence Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-reunderwrite final QC reviews on loans, focusing on credit, compliance, collateral, and data integrity
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, and missing documentation within loan files
• Ensure compliance with investor, agency, and regulatory guidelines, particularly TRID compliance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage experience in a secondary market due diligence underwriting environment
• 2+ years of experience performing due diligence QC reviews
• Experience with final QC audits of peer due diligence underwrites
• Strong knowledge of agency guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) and FHA/VA and Non-QM products
• Hands-on experience with Laura Mac and Encompass
