Finance Accountant

Job Summary

To support day-to-day financial operations, the full-time Finance Accountant will manage multi-entity intercompany allocations, bank reconciliations, and compliance reporting while working remotely outside of Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash balances and perform bank matching and reconciliations across all entities
• Prepare and post journal entries, manage payment setups, and ensure accurate revenue entries and reconciliations
• Support quarterly GST preparation and annual audit processes, while identifying automation opportunities to enhance finance operations

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or SaaS/tech environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accrual-basis accounting principles
• Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting platforms
• Self-motivated with a client-first mentality and the ability to meet deadlines independently
• CPA, CPA candidate, or equivalent accounting designation in progress is a strong asset
