Finance Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Finance Analyst will apply cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.
Key responsibilities
- Complete accounting transactions and prepare client financial statement packages
- Create and post journal entries while ensuring accurate posting of all transactions for the accounting period
- Generate comprehensive financial reports and respond to management and vendor inquiries regarding accounting issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Intermediate math skills for financial calculations
- Ability to analyze information and apply standard practices to make judgments
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
