Finance and Accounting Associate

Job Summary

To support daily financial operations for U.S.-based cannabis clients, the full-time remote Finance and Accounting Associate will manage accounting tasks such as reconciliations, invoicing, and month-end close activities while gaining exposure to financial operations in a collaborative startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, aging reports, and month-end close activities
• Deliver accurate work on time while maintaining low error rates and building client trust through reliable support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
