Finance and Accounting Director

Job Summary

Overseeing the accounting and financial operations for Capital for Good and Global Impact Social Welfare Fund, the full-time Director of Finance and Accounting will manage day-to-day financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and strengthen internal controls while collaborating closely with the existing director in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and internal controls for assigned entities, leading the finance team
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Review and approve financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and nonprofit finance experience
• Experience managing operational accounting functions and project accounting in a multi-entity environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing teams
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Bill/Divvy, and advanced Excel skills preferred
