Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support project infrastructure and financial operations, the remote Associate Manager - Finance and Accounting will oversee project finances, manage financial reporting and analysis, and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards while collaborating with finance colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project finance operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management
• Independently prepare and present accurate financial reports and analyses to senior management and project leads
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 6-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment
• Expert knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations, including FAR and 2CFR200
• Solid experience in cradle-to-grave project finances, including financial reporting and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
