Finance and Automation Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Finance and Automation Manager will own day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial close processes, and build automation tools while managing a small team remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own financials, month-end close, cash flow, budgeting processes, and ad-hoc reports
• Manage, coach, and develop an accounting team while balancing hands-on ownership with delegation
• Build and ship internal finance tooling, including dashboards and automations, using AI coding tools

Required qualifications

• Strong technical accounting experience in ledgers, close, tax, AP, and payroll
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a small team
• Demonstrated ability to independently build and ship finance tools or automations using AI coding tools
• Experience with US accounting practices and exposure to US-based companies
• Comfortable with payment authority and related controls in a global, culturally diverse environment
