Finance and Grants Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finance and Grants Management Specialist (Remote Opportunity).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and finalize project budgets, and provide budget justification
• Serve as a liaison between principal investigators and other departments, responding to sponsor inquiries
• Review and approve expenditures, oversee compliance related to fund and revenue, and participate in contract closeout processes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree and three years of job-related experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Grants Manager or Finance Analyst in an academic institution
• Experience with current financial systems and knowledge of relevant processes
• Basic knowledge of governmental regulations and accounting principles
• Completion of Cardinal Curriculum I and II within the first year in the role
