Finance Automation Manager
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Finance Automation Manager will manage a small team while overseeing month-end/year-end close, tax compliance, and building internal finance tools to enhance automation, all in a 100% remote setting supporting US Eastern Time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financials, month-end close, cash flow, and budgeting processes
- Manage, coach, and develop an accounting team while balancing hands-on ownership with delegation
- Build and ship internal finance tools, dashboards, and automations using AI coding tools
Required qualifications
- Strong technical accounting experience in ledgers, close, tax, AP, and payroll
- Proven leadership skills in managing and developing a small team
- Demonstrated ability to independently build finance tools and automations with coding tools
- Experience with US accounting practices and exposure to US-based companies
- Fluent written and spoken English, with experience in global and culturally diverse teams
