Finance BI Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Finance BI Data Engineer for a 12-month contract, this remote position will design and implement a real-time reporting layer to transform financial data into actionable insights, while collaborating with various teams to enhance profitability and forecasting capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a real-time, self-service reporting layer for financial data management
• Develop a profitability attribution engine in partnership with commercial and supply chain teams
• Prototype predictive AI tools for automated cash and P&L forecasting and scenario modeling

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in data infrastructure and end-to-end data pipeline execution
• Proficiency in data architecture, particularly with Snowflake or similar platforms
• Demonstrated use of AI/ML tools for predictive modeling and data automation
• Ability to translate finance requirements into technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in evaluating and reconfiguring financial planning and budgeting tools
