Finance BI Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Finance BI Scientist will independently transform high-level financial goals into data models and interactive analytics dashboards while leveraging AI tools to optimize reporting and streamline workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Independently create working prototypes and data models from high-level financial goals
• Design and maintain visual dashboards to monitor KPIs and business performance metrics
• Utilize AI tools to generate SQL queries and troubleshoot technical issues in a Snowflake data warehouse environment

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Data Ingestion, Data Modeling, BI Reporting Automation, and Analytics
• Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, and BI tools like Tableau
• Familiarity with AI tools for building applications and manipulating data sets
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor between data insights and finance stakeholders
