Finance Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support strategic decision-making across multiple business entities, the full-time remote Finance Business Analyst will deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis while collaborating with operational leaders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including detailed variance analysis against budget and forecasts
• Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial insights and improve financial processes and reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies while preparing corporate income tax returns and supporting schedules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting, financial analysis, and reporting experience
• Accounting designation in progress (CPA) or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience with complex ownership structures and independent preparation of T2 corporate tax returns
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience building complex templates and formulas
