Finance Controller Assistant

Job Summary

Fluent in German and English, the full-time Finance Controller Assistant will oversee daily financial processes, coordinate bookkeeping, and support financial reporting and compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the business to ensure accuracy and compliance in daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes
• Lead month-end close activities and assist in preparing management and statutory financial reports
• Collaborate with the European Tax team to support timely tax compliance and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in finance roles, preferably within financial services or insurance
• Professional working proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong grounding in accounting, control, and financial reporting
• Exposure to Solvency II or willingness to develop knowledge in this area
