Finance Data Platform Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the implementation and ongoing operation of a Finance Data Platform, the full-time remote Finance Data Platform Specialist will gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with technical teams, and ensure data accuracy across finance-related domains such as commissions and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for finance data initiatives
- Prepare user stories, business rules, and functional specifications while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Utilize SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of enterprise finance data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise finance applications or financial systems
- Experience with finance processes such as commissions, banking, and financial reporting
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
