Finance Director

Job Summary

To support the financial health of the organization, the part-time contractor Finance Director will lead financial planning, manage compliance, and oversee the fiscal sponsorship program while working remotely for approximately 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and drive the annual budgeting process
• Manage the full contracting lifecycle and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Oversee the fiscal sponsorship program and maintain finance and operations policies

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a senior non-profit finance role
• Strong working knowledge of US nonprofit financial compliance, including 990 filing
• Experience with financial platforms such as QuickBooks, Ramp, and Stripe
• Ability to work independently in a small, mission-driven organization
• Must be based in the United States and comfortable working across time zones
