Finance Director

Job Summary

To lead the financial operations of the Foundation, the full-time salaried Finance Director will plan, implement, and coordinate accounting needs while ensuring compliance with regulations and managing departmental budgets, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and directs departmental activities, ensuring effective internal controls and performance appraisals
• Prepares and monitors the departmental budget, providing financial data and insights to senior leadership
• Oversees the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting, including Medicare and Medicaid compliance filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in finance or accounting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in PC-based spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance processes
