Finance Director

Job Summary

Overseeing financial operations in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Director of Finance will manage accounting personnel, conduct financial assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting the firm's growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations and ensure effective integration of financial systems and workflows
• Manage and train accounting personnel, while conducting regular financial assessments and generating reports for senior management
• Develop annual financial plans, establish budgets, and monitor compliance with corporate policies and regulations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (master's preferred)
• 10+ years of accounting experience in a mid to large company, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Law firm experience is required
• Experience with Aderant or similar financial systems is necessary
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations
