Finance Director

Job Summary

To support a growing menswear brand, the full-time remote Director of Finance will manage the accounting function, ensure financial accuracy and clarity across the organization, and act as a thought partner to department leaders on financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve accounting operations, ensuring processes are up to date and financial data is accurate
• Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments while establishing clear approval workflows
• Deliver department-level financial clarity by building P&Ls and presenting financial information to department leaders

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operational finance roles
• Experience managing accounting functions, including accounts payable, close, and reporting
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, consumer brands, or inventory-heavy businesses is a plus
