Finance Director

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director, the full-time remote position will manage financial reporting, planning, and compliance while partnering with leadership to develop long-term financial strategies for a growing nonprofit organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead core finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
• Partner with the Executive Director to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational growth goals
• Oversee and improve internal financial systems, policies, and controls suitable for a global nonprofit

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, Form 990 preparation, and audit management
• Experience in supporting Board and donor communications, including financial reporting
• Proven track record of building and optimizing financial systems in a lean organization
• Comfortable with both high-level strategy and day-to-day financial execution
