Finance Director

Job Summary

Stepping into an established financial structure, the remote Finance Director will manage the Advertising P&L and enterprise-wide SG&A functions, ensuring continuity in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting during the current Director's maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Advertising P&L and enterprise-wide SG&A, maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide visibility into Advertising and SG&A performance for executive leadership
• Review financial variance reports, identify drivers, and communicate findings to finance leadership proactively

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Proven ability to step into an existing financial structure and manage it accurately with minimal ramp-up time
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and ad hoc financial modeling
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills and strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Strong partnering skills to quickly build trust with business teams
