Finance Director

Job Summary

To support the financial integrity of a non-profit organization, the full-time salaried Finance Director will oversee accounting management, ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations, and lead a finance team while working remotely within the United States and coordinating with teams in Ecuador and Peru.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement reviews
• Manage the annual external audit process and ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies to support operational efficiency and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in nonprofit finance and accounting, with at least two years in a supervisory role
• Direct experience with U.S. 501(c)(3) accounting and reporting, including Form 990 preparation
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and FASB ASC 958, including net asset classification and contribution revenue recognition
• Advanced Excel skills and administrator-level experience with QuickBooks Online or a similar system
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
