Finance Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing mission-driven organization, the remote Finance Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with nonprofit fund accounting standards, all while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and Uniform Guidance
• Support the annual budgeting process and provide financial analysis to aid strategic planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of nonprofit fund accounting and bookkeeping experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CDFI industry in microlending/small business lending
• Experience with annual financial audits and OMB single audits
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications
