Finance Manager

Job Summary

Supporting client finance operations, the full-time remote Finance Manager will deliver comprehensive financial management and reporting services for a diverse property portfolio while leading a team of financial professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports for assigned property portfolios, ensuring compliance with client requirements and accounting standards
• Assist in developing and monitoring annual operating budgets and forecasts, collaborating with property management teams for realistic projections
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with operational teams to resolve issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and advanced formulas
• Experience with financial software systems, preferably real estate management platforms such as Yardi or MRI
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail in a client-focused environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial data and communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders
