Finance Manager (Compliance)

Job Summary

Managing restricted donation reports, the remote Finance Manager (Compliance) will oversee financial compliance, lead the Finance department in Brazil, and design a global internal controls framework to ensure accurate financial tracking and adherence to regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end tracking, analysis, and financial reporting for all restricted donations in partnership with the Fundraising team
• Develop and implement a global internal controls framework to ensure data integrity and mitigate risks
• Lead compliance initiatives, including annual tax filings and vendor data verification across international operations

Required qualifications

• Relevant experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields; master's degree preferred
• Knowledge of financial management and accounting practices in Brazil, with experience in international financial practices
• Proficiency in accounting principles and financial statements
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
• Availability to travel as needed
