Finance Manager, Early Development

Job Summary

Supporting financial management and analysis for early-stage R&D programs, the full-time Finance Manager, Early Development will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking while ensuring alignment with program activities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly accruals for early development project contracts, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines
• Own financial planning and forecasting for assigned programs, providing guidance on investment decisions and resource allocation
• Develop financial models and scenarios to support pipeline decisions related to early-stage programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• Extensive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech sectors
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; knowledge of Oracle is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
