Finance Manager - FP and A

Job Summary

Owning and leading the financial strategy, the full-time Finance Manager - FP&A will build and manage financial models, oversee budget development, drive board reporting, and partner with leadership on strategic financial decisions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the financial model and rolling forecasts, providing proactive insights on variances and recommendations to leadership
• Lead the annual budget process and ongoing management, translating operational plans into financial metrics
• Manage relationships with external accounting firms, reviewing monthly closes and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A or finance operations at startups or growth-stage companies
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills, with a proven track record of budget ownership
• Experience in building board-grade reporting and translating financial data into strategic recommendations
• Demonstrated cash-management experience, including ownership of burn/runway reporting
• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus
