Finance Manager - R&D

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic finance partner, the full-time remote Finance Manager - R&D will manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for the Development and Oncology Development/Precision Medicines organizations while collaborating with R&D leaders and cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for headcount and operating expenses, including quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Oversee key aspects of the accounting close process, including variance analysis and management reporting

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 2 years of Finance experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years of Finance experience OR Associate's degree with 8 years of Finance experience OR High school diploma/GED with 10 years of Finance experience
• 5+ years of corporate finance experience, particularly in FP&A and/or accounting roles
• Relevant experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting within a matrixed organization
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial systems and experience with AI/Automation tools, including SAP and Microsoft Office
