Finance Manager, R&D

Job Summary

Seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Finance Manager, R&D, the full-time remote role will manage financial partnerships with R&D teams, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and develop financial models to support complex technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with technical department leads to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Own detailed forecasts and budgets for the R&D organization, translating evolving business needs
• Build and maintain financial models that convert complex operational inputs into clear financial outputs

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Operations, or Business Finance, preferably in a high-growth tech environment
• Experience partnering with technical teams such as R&D, Engineering, or AI/ML
• Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting, with a focus on maintaining accuracy in dynamic settings
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to enhance financial processes and workflows
