Finance Manager (UK)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finance Manager (Mat Leave Cover) to manage day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and management reporting, including month-end and year-end processes, compliance, and coordination of external audits
• Manage operational finance tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, payroll administration, and cash flow monitoring
• Support commercial finance initiatives by collaborating with teams on budgeting, financial planning, and providing insights for profitability

Required Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements
• Experience with small to medium-sized business accounting software and project management systems
• Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with stakeholders in the USA
