Finance Managing Director

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Controller, the full-time Managing Director of Finance will lead the annual budget process, manage revenue budgets, and supervise grant financial compliance while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process and provide budget performance results to leadership and the Board of Directors
• Manage revenue budgets and incorporate them into daily operations while providing feedback to organizational leadership
• Supervise the Grants Financial Compliance Manager and collaborate with programmatic directors to develop and manage grant budgets

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, with strong preference for candidates with an MBA
• At least five years of experience in roles such as Budget Director or Director of Finance, preferably in non-profit or education organizations
• Proven success in managing a high-performing finance team
• Comprehensive understanding of fund-based budget modeling and budget management systems
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
