Finance Officer

Job Summary

Supporting the financial management of the Caribbean Resilience Initiative (CRI), the full-time or part-time Finance Officer will manage accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and grant compliance functions across multiple Caribbean jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain banking files and conduct financial reviews of purchase requests and payment requests
• Support month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring accurate accounting records
• Prepare financial reports and assist with grant budget monitoring and compliance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
• Three to five years of progressively responsible finance experience, preferably in an international NGO environment
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and donor regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems
• Experience in budgeting, grants management, and financial reporting
