Finance Operations Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finance Operations Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage prepaid expenses and accruals, ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial recognition
• Prepare and post journal entries for proper cost alignment and accurate monthly close
• Oversee Internal Work Orders (IWOs) and act as a liaison with the Contracts team for budget and forecast updates

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within an IT environment
• Understanding of government financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with program start-up and lifecycle financial management
