Finance Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing Finance organization, the remote Finance Operations Specialist will own and improve core finance processes, lead root-cause analysis for operational issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve key Finance Operations processes, including documentation, controls, and performance reporting
- Lead root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and establish KPIs to drive corrective actions
- Build scalable operating procedures and governance routines to support consistent execution as the company grows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in improving end-to-end business processes and understanding core finance operations
- Strong analytical, project management, and change management skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Curious and pragmatic problem solver with sound judgment around AI, automation, and data quality
- Ability to build trust, lead through ambiguity, and coach a team effectively
