Finance Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the financial infrastructure roadmap, the full-time remote Finance Product Manager will manage the development of payment systems, service fee collection, and compliance foundations for travel agencies, transforming Tern into a comprehensive financial system for small businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the financial infrastructure roadmap, including virtual cards, payroll, and expense management
• Build compliance and risk foundations necessary for operating in the travel payments space
• Design and implement invoicing, month-end close processes, and transaction export functionalities

Required qualifications

• Founding or near-founding PM experience at a fintech with a focus on payments and compliance infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of general ledger architecture, payment rails, and compliance
• Experience shipping a payments product through significant scale changes
• Comfortable in a small-team environment, performing customer research and unblocking engineering tasks
• Bonus points for payroll product or multi-currency payments experience
