Finance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project billing for government contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage final contract close-out billings and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Support external and internal auditors and perform special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of customer billing experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of customer billing and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is preferred
• Experience in transactional accounting and billing in a Federal Government contractor environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Oracle billing experience is preferred
