Finance Specialist

Job Summary

Providing specialized financial management services, the full-time remote Finance Specialist will administer accounting, budgeting, and reporting while supporting staff with financial inquiries and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets and financial reports, communicating financial information to project staff
• Coordinate multiple projects and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and compliance with TNC policies
• Maintain financial data, including journal entries and project records, while providing backup support for accounts payable and receivable

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination
• Experience with accounting and financial reporting systems, preferably Workday
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with GAAP and fund accounting principles
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Experience managing diverse activities and meeting deadlines
