Finance Vice President

Job Summary

To support a growing PLG SaaS business, the remote Finance Vice President will own the company's operating model, manage unit economics and pricing strategies, and serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, all while leveraging AI tools and existing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the company's 3-statement model tailored for a PLG business
• Conduct customer profitability analysis, marketing spend ROI, and sales productivity analysis in collaboration with functional leaders
• Manage AI inference costs and COGS, ensuring accurate forecasting and optimization opportunities

Required qualifications

• Experience in finance within a PLG business with strong modeling skills for self-serve revenue and expansion
• Ability to leverage AI tooling for efficiency and impact without needing a large team
• Pragmatic approach to finance, focusing on meaningful impact rather than rigid processes
• Hands-on capability in building financial models and analyzing data directly
• Low-ego, collaborative mindset with a focus on test-and-learn methodologies
