Finance VP

Job Summary

To support a growing finance function, the full-time remote VP of Finance will manage day-to-day operations, oversee compliance and tax processes, and lead a team while contributing strategically to the company's growth and financial systems architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month-end and quarter-end close process across multiple entities and manage revenue recognition for various revenue streams
• Oversee multi-state sales tax compliance and coordinate annual audit relationships and tax filings
• Drive the finance systems roadmap and build a documented internal control framework while leading and developing a distributed team

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role at a high-growth SaaS or technology company
• Deep experience with US multi-state tax compliance and revenue recognition for multi-element arrangements (ASC 606)
• Track record of improving month-end close processes and managing distributed teams
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in building complex financial models and dynamic reporting
