A company is looking for a Financial Access Specialist who will manage financial clearance for post-acute admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits for assigned post-acute admissions
• Initiate and manage prior authorization requests, ensuring thorough documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with various departments to support timely admissions and financial accountability

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in patient access/hospital registration or revenue cycle required
• Epic experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with prior authorizations and insurance verifications preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement processes is essential
