Financial Accountant

Job Summary

Managing the financial records for a portfolio of properties, the full-time Financial Accountant will perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance and accuracy in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger through timely journal entries and organized documentation
• Manage monthly accruals and perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy
• Participate in financial analysis, supporting variance analysis and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance decision-making processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior hotel financial experience preferred
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to maintain organized documentation for audit purposes
