A company is looking for a Financial Advocate Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial documents to determine patient eligibility for Medicaid and Charity Care
• Meet with patients to verify financial information and assist with Medicaid applications
• Communicate with healthcare providers to establish patient disability status for Medicaid assistance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years as a Social Services Income Maintenance Caseworker or three years in financial counseling
• Knowledge of Medicaid application guidelines and Social Security Disability regulations
• Experience with financial statements for determining eligibility for assistance programs
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or human services
