Financial Aid Advisor

Job Summary

Contributing to the administration of financial aid programs, the full-time Financial Aid Advisor will manage a student case load, counsel students and families on financial aid processes, and participate in outreach initiatives, with the possibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial aid applications, determining eligibility and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Counsel students and families on financial aid options and assist with the FAFSA completion
• Assist with program management and contribute to policy writing to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• One year of experience in higher education
• Ability to work with and counsel diverse students and communities
• Commitment to exceptional customer service
• Strong written and oral communication skills
