Financial Aid Advisor

Job Summary

To support student financial needs, the full-time hybrid Financial Aid Advisor will manage financial aid award packages, troubleshoot disbursement issues, and provide guidance on funding options while working closely with students to enhance their financial literacy.

Key responsibilities:

• Revise financial aid award packages based on changes in eligibility and course schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve disbursement rejects to ensure timely funding
• Meet with students to assess funding needs and guide them through the FAFSA and other documentation

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of Title IV administration experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
• Knowledge of financial aid regulations and departmental policies
• Organized with attention to detail
