Job Summary
Providing phone-based financial aid support, the full-time remote Financial Aid Advisor will educate students on Federal Student Aid options, ensure proper funding packaging, and enhance the student experience through high-quality customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct inbound phone discussions to advise and educate students on financial aid options
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure students are effectively packaged with funding for their education
- Utilize financial aid databases to assist students and parents in real-time during the financial aid cycle
Required qualifications:
- 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service experience
- Associate's degree required
- Solutions-oriented attitude with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills necessary for reviewing financial aid package information
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
