Financial Aid Advisor

Job Summary

To support students in their financial planning, the full-time remote Financial Aid Advisor will provide guidance on financial aid processes, develop student financial plans, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide students and parents through the financial aid application process and required documentation
• Develop and communicate financial plans for assigned students, ensuring compliance with institutional policies
• Collaborate with Admission Representatives to deliver exceptional service to prospective students and their families

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or Associate's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of related experience
• Experience in financial aid or accounting is required
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial aid software (Campus Vue/Campus Nexus preferred)
• Ability to make small group presentations and interact effectively on a one-on-one basis
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
