Financial Aid Advisor

Job Summary

Managing assigned groups of students, the fully remote Financial Aid Advisor will counsel students and their families on funding plans, financial aid requirements, and academic progression while supporting shared phone and email queues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and student-centered assistance via phone and email, explaining financial aid concepts and requirements
• Review student records and documents to ensure accurate information and identify outstanding financial aid requirements
• Document student interactions and follow up on commitments and required actions in designated systems

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in financial aid, higher education, advising, or customer service preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new systems
