Financial Aid Advisor

Job Summary

To support student success, the full-time Financial Aid Advisor will provide guidance on financial aid processes, develop financial plans, and assist students and parents with the application and verification processes in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Efficiently package financial aid for new, continuing, re-entry, and transfer students while ensuring compliance with federal and institutional regulations
• Guide students and parents through the financial aid application process, including required documentation and verification procedures
• Collaborate with Admission Representatives to deliver exceptional service to prospective students and their families

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in federal and student financial aid
• Experience in financial aid or accounting is required
• Proficiency in financial aid software (Campus Vue/Campus Nexus preferred) and strong MS Office skills
• Ability to present to small groups and interact effectively on a one-on-one basis
• Demonstrated customer service and problem-solving experience
